This AR111 reflector is fitted with an MR11/G4 lampholder that allows you to interchange bulbs at a lower cost and save energy if you choose LED bulbs.
This standard MR11 socket will also accept smallLED bulbs in G4 format because the pin centres are compatible.
Some of the G4 bulbs will give you the same luminosity as a 50 watt AR111 halogen bulb, or even more, with 400 lumens for the most powerful.
Ceramic for the lampholder and silicone-coated wiring for protection against heat up to 250°c.
Standard AR111 reflector normally fitted with a standard halogen bulb, its use has been diverted to install removable MR11 or G4 type lamps.
