This Lynch E26 socket is mainly used on the North American market, where the standard voltage is 120V. Please note that the E26 format is mainly intended for export.
If you are located in Europe, we recommend that you choose the E27 format instead.
The latter has slightly different dimensions and complies with specific certification standards. If required, we can also provide the necessary certifications.
This format is reserved for export, especially for professionals planning to sell their products on foreign marketplaces.
Countries concerned include the United States, Canada, Mexico, Japan, Taiwan and some Latin American and Caribbean countries.
This Lynch lamp holder is made from aged brass with a satin finish. The reflections of the brass, influenced by the light, vary from darker to lighter, creating a fascinating play of colours ranging from brown to slightly greenish hues.

Information on electrical safety.
In terms of electrical connectivity, this porcelain lampholder will be installed with phase and neutral wiring, earthing is possible, a small hole is available on the side of the jumper to connect a small earth cable to a round lug, some pre-wired earth cables are available at the bottom of the product sheet.
For obvious aesthetic reasons, it is difficult to envisage using a large 230 volt 2P + earth plug or socket for a floor-mounted lamp. More commonly, a flat 2-pin plug is used, allowing only the phase and neutral to be connected using a two-conductor cable.
This connection without earthing is possible, but it is essential to use an anti-pull-out system for the cable coming out of the lamp. Various cable locking devices can be installed, either in the base of the lamp or directly in the bottom of the lampholder.
These small plastic mechanisms have an anti-rotation and anti-pull function for your power supply cable.
These cable locks are available in the 'You'll like them too' section at the bottom of the product sheet.
