A horticultural strip with blue LEDs and red LEDs because the photoreceptors in plants only perceive certain specific colours.
The colours orange and yellow are only partially assimilated as red by plants.
The same applies to violet and indigo, these two other colours are only very slightly absorbed as a residual blue colour.
And plants are virtually insensitive to green light because they have no photoreceptor called cryptochrome for this colour.
Horticultural LED strips are made up of two types of monochromeLED - 20 blue LEDs (460nm) for growth and 40 red LEDs (630nm) for flowering. They generate a very precise spectrum and their complementary nature will ensure abundant cultivation!
The light spectrum of the LED strips is almost 98% absorbed by the plants, which means that in an optimum growing configuration, very good yield results will be obtained.
However, despite its excellent IP67 waterproof rating, it cannot be immersed in water, as accidental damage to the strip would be far too dangerous.
Particular attention must be paid to the watertightness of the electrical input connections and the termination plug.
These flexible rollers are protected by an IP67 silicone sealing resin but are not fitted with a self-adhesive strip.
However, a 3M double-sided adhesive is available as an accessory.
The horticultural LED strips can be cut every 1 metre at specific points.

Precautions for use :
A special plug-in power supply cable is essential for connecting a 230-volt LED ribbon.
This cable has a small voltage regulator box for 230-volt LED strips and is fitted at the end with a two-pin rapid connector. This accessory is available at the bottom of the product data sheet.
We advise you not to look at the light for long periods, even with protective glasses.
