It is equipped with 192 Epistar SMD 2835 chip LEDs arranged around the perimeter of the aluminium structure. These LEDs illuminate the edge of the polycarbonate, then the light is reflected evenly throughout the luminaire by an optical reflector placed in the background.
The 40 watt LED panel provides the same level of luminosity as a conventional recessed luminaire fitted with four 60 cm fluorescent tubes.
And the power consumption of an LED panel is halved compared with a fluorescent tube solution.
